Terms
Terms and conditions for xr-jobs
These terms govern the use of the xr-jobs platform and the booking and publication of job listings. Individually negotiated written agreements take precedence.
1. Scope of services
xr-jobs operates a platform for job listings in XR, AR, VR, WebXR, and spatial computing. We may publish job listings, edit them for publication, and distribute them through our own channels, especially the newsletter.
2. Contract formation
A contract for paid services is only concluded once we confirm a booking or activate the service. Information on the website does not yet constitute a binding offer to conclude a contract.
3. Customer obligations
Customers warrant that submitted content is lawful, does not infringe third-party rights, and that all information about the role, compensation, working model, and application process reflects the actual circumstances.
We are entitled to reject or remove content if it is unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, technically defective, or thematically unsuitable.
4. Duration and visibility
Unless agreed otherwise, job listings remain online for the specified term. After expiry, listings may be deactivated, archived, or removed from the active overview.
5. Prices and payment
The prices communicated at the time of booking apply. Invoices are due without deduction within the stated payment period unless agreed otherwise.
If we later enable online payment methods, payments may be processed through Stripe, PayPal, Google Pay, or comparable providers. Their additional contractual and privacy terms may apply to the payment step.
We receive only the transaction data needed for booking confirmation, invoicing, accounting, support, and fraud prevention.
6. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, and damages arising from injury to life, body, or health. In the case of slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
7. Availability
We aim for high platform availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted accessibility at all times. Maintenance, security updates, and third-party outages may lead to temporary restrictions.
8. Final provisions
German law applies excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, insofar as mandatory consumer protection rules do not provide otherwise. If individual provisions are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
